Run of good deeds October 8 results. Plans for good: enjoy music and do a good deed at the same time

On October 8, the amazing annual “Run of Good Deeds” or “The Butterfly Run” took place in Moscow. It was organized by the Butterfly Children Foundation, which provides care for children who constantly need medical care due to a rare genetic disease - epidermolysis bullosa. In order to draw attention to the problem of children, a charity race was created. With its help, concerned citizens can do a good deed, and children can understand that the world around them is not so scary, and there are good people in it.

More than 1,500 people took part in the race. Every year it was held exclusively by Russian cities, but in 2017 people in Chile and Singapore joined our runners, and the event received international status. Since the TOY.RU company not only pleases children with the best toys in the world, but also provides comprehensive assistance to children in need, we simply could not pass by and became partners in such a necessary event.

Our animators conducted wonderful master classes. The children and I sculpted incredible figures from the safe, stretchy Skwooshi sculpting mass and played board games. The well-known “Jenga” was interesting to all the kids; they pulled out wooden blocks with extraordinary accuracy so as not to destroy the tower, and the game “Word by Word” allowed them to show their erudition; “Dancing Worm” was liked by active children who cannot sit on one place and minutes. And fans of puzzles and labyrinths were given amazing Perplexus balls.

Theater and film actor and trustee of the Butterfly Children Foundation, Danila Kozlovsky, who has been helping kids for many years, joined the fun games with the children. He enjoyed playing board games with the children, communicating with his little charges, answering their endless questions, and even ran a race with them.

The route for the amazing event was laid in Victory Park. Beautiful routes were designed for people with different levels of physical fitness: distances of 2 km and 10 km. And for the Foundation’s little wards, a special short segment was chosen. They opened this event. All the people who came joyfully greeted the children and supported them throughout the entire route. The children confidently covered the required distance. But some guys didn’t want to stop there and expressed a desire to conquer two kilometers together with all the participants. And they did it! With caring people who went to run full distances, the kids tested their strength and successfully finished. All participants were tired, but fulfilled the goals they had set for themselves.

The federal retail chain of children's toys TOY.RU made sure that all the children who took part in the race received prizes. We decided to give each child Skwooshi modeling material, because the Foundation’s students really liked it at the master class. And those who finished first were awarded the most famous board game - Monopoly.

After the award ceremony, a stunning surprise awaited the participants. The cheerful musical group FRUKTbl appeared on stage to the announcement of Russian TV presenter and actor Alexander Gudkov, who was the presenter at the event. They came to support the children from the Foundation and perform a concert program. Kids and adults really enjoyed their songs, they sang along, clapped their hands loudly and danced carefree.

Thanks to the friendly work of the organizers, the entertaining program of the animators, the participation of famous actors, musicians and everyone who came to support their people, and the presentation of wonderful gifts, not a single child was left behind! Each of them was able to feel the kindness and care of those around them.

This year the race to help “butterfly children” will be held in 4 cities. On September 3, runners from Volgograd, Izhevsk, and Novorossiysk will take part in the Good Deeds Race.

The first “Run of Good Deeds” took place in October 2015 in Moscow and brought together 1,500 runners. including Olympic champions, show business stars, theater and film actors and simply caring people ready to help. In 2016, the Race took place in 7 cities of Russia and raised 10.5 million rubles. In 2017, 4,500 people will take part in the event.

The next, already third, marathon dedicated to “butterfly children” - children suffering from epidermolysis bullosa - will be held in several cities at once. First in line are Izhevsk, Volgograd and Novorossiysk, and Moscow will take the baton in early October. In parallel with the Moscow race, similar charity marathons will be held in Chile and Singapore. This year, the “Run of Good Deeds” should receive the status of an international project and an additional English name - The Butterfly Run.

There are two distances - 2 km (participation cost - 800 rubles) and 10 km (1400 rubles). No special sports training is required. All proceeds from the race, including participation fees, are transferred to the B.E.L.A. Foundation. Butterfly children".

The organizers of the famous triathlon competition IRONSTAR traditionally hold children's charity races on the eve of the main competitions. The age range of participants is wide: up to 12 years, the distance depending on age is from 500 m to 1 km.The entry fee is 200 rubles, and the amount of the donation is at the discretion of the parents.This year, races under the motto “Children Helping Children” have already taken place in Sochi and Kazan, and Sochi is next in line.

StarKids is a joint charity project of IRONSTAR and the Creation Foundation, which helps low-income families, large families and social institutions. The foundation supports hospitals, boarding schools, orphanages and orphanages.

Moscow Marathon

This year, according to the organizers, about 30 thousand people will participate in the largest Russian race. The Moscow Marathon will take place for the fifth time. Its route passes through the city center: along the embankments of the Moscow River, the Garden Ring, the Crimean Bridge, the Boulevard Ring, Tverskaya Street, Teatralny Proezd and under the walls of the Kremlin. You can choose between the classic marathon distance (42 km 195 m) and the 10 km race.

Online registration has already ended, but it will continue on September 22 and 23 at the sports exhibition in Luzhniki. The cost of participation in the marathon ranges from 1,500 to 4,000 rubles and depends on the age of the participant, as well as on the date of registration. You can take part in a 10-kilometer race for 750-2000 rubles.

On the day of the marathon, there will also be a race for handbikers - athletes with disabilities. They will compete on manual bikes.

The “Vera” hospice charity foundation, together with the largest museums in Russia, is holding the “With Vera to the Museum!” campaign for the second time.

On the eve of the New Year, the fund invites companies to allocate the amount planned for the purchase of corporate gifts to partners to help hospice patients. Instead of pens, calendars and other standard souvenirs, the participants of the action will give their partners unique postcards and the opportunity to visit the museum.
