The Moscow authorities will not renew them, the president of the Coalition of Kioskers, Vladlen Maksimov, told RBC and was confirmed by the head of the department of trade and services, Alexey Nemeryuk. Failure to renew contracts means dismantling the tents, and they are almost new, purchased by entrepreneurs at the request of the city in 2012, Maksimov recalls. “Now they are telling us that they will install some objects at the expense of the city and they will be put up for auction, and everything that they [previously] approved as an example of aesthetics and functionality must be thrown away.”, he says.

“When the auctions were held in 2011, everyone was invited to make their own tents according to a certain pattern. Now it turns out that we have to throw them away.
